Lauren Kate- 6 years young

Lauren turned 6! She was Queen Elsa and had her friends over for a Frozen themed party. She also made her first trip to American Girl in Chicago with Grandma Miller and me. She  has two adult teeth on the bottom now.
She loves to be a big girl and play school, and sing and make art. She loves pop music, especially
Taylor Swift. Michael asks her not to sing in the car but it's no use. Lauren is a lot of fun and likes to have fun. She loves to tickle you to get an honest to goodness laugh out of you. She finished kindergarten and is excited to become a 1st grader.

Lotsa Picsa

And I mean lots of pics I'm behind on posting. I'll try to upload the key photos of events since Halloween 2014.  So far two huge milestones have happened.  Lauren lost her first tooth with another on the way out, and Michael turned 4. Oh- and he can chew gum now. He will be the one to remind you of this whenever he sees you. It's crazy to see these two now and no longer see baby faces :(

They are fun and funny kids, and like to laugh and yell and fight and run and go go go. We just had Lauren's pom recital today and it was fun to watch her progression since the start of dance.  She is choosing to take a break for now and just do soccer and swim. Michael has natural rhythm and likes to dance as well. Here is a quick video of him with his latest dance moves:
Christmas Frosty with the new Badgers snowman kit.

We're not scared of Santa THIS year!

Looking pretty

Family trip to Wisconsin Dells- Great Wolf Lodge.

The morning we were leaving the Dells, LK lost her first tooth! She pulled and twisted it out by herself. So proud.

Michael Turns 4!! Go big guy!

Skylanders are the hot commodity. I made him a Pop Fizz pinata.

Bed Jumpers

Michael is in his big bed finally.  We realized we went as long as we could and he was getting too big. He enjoys it but still sleeps parallel to his pillows as if he was still sleeping in the toddler bed.

And this is what happens when I say, "Kids, no TV. Please play nice with each other for a half hour while I make dinner..."

The had turned the fort I made, into a "pit", consisting of all of the blankets and bed pillows they could find. I took these after I made them put underwear back on. :)

Lauren Kate- 5 yrs young

Our Lovely Lauren turned 5 last month and she had quite the birthday. Her friends joined her for a bear-building party and had lots of fun.  Lauren is having a big year this year as she finishes 4K and heads into Kindergarten this fall.  She is definitely ready with her numbers, letters, etc. She now reads books at night and knows a lot of the words!  She loves to dress up like Elsa and perform. We have watched Frozen 8 times and listen to the CD every day in the car. Lauren is a GUM fanatic. (Aunt Erin, you will have to have a pack ready because I clearly remember that framed picture with letter to LK upon her birth that you would always have gum as her aunt :) ). She likes to color, play UNO, play soccer, perform ballet, swim and pom pons. She is our little competitor, especially when it comes to winning at UNO or getting down the stairs first. We love everything about her. XO LK

She woke up to a surprise balloon avalanche.

Opening presents...she received a LeapPad and she was thrilled
Ready for the big Build-A-Bear Party
