Another Kitchen Update

Tonight Lauren wanted to dig in the food bin.  Pretty soon everything will be put away and I'll have to give her a drawer all to herself so she can be entertained.  I'll show a few kitchen updates on the next post.  The cabinets are beautiful....amazing paint job by Eric & Co.  By the end of next week we'll have everything done I think!  Lauren gives hugs and kisses to all.  xo, Jackie



 

Kitchen Update

We are really close to getting all of the cabinet faces back.  The carpenter is putting in the trimwork today and tomorrow so that Eric can come and finish painting the cabinets and trim and walls.  Then the appliances will arrive, and lastly, the granite.  Today the carpenter put in all of the beadboard, as well as baseboard in some of the kitchen and casing on a fw doors.  He will finish the doors and trim tomorrow.  It's coming around in here!

I let Lauren eat from the jar of puffs by herself.  Here is how she did.  Chris wanted me to say he didn't condone this.  Although, I would not let her help herself to a handful of real cheerios or anything.   These disolve once saliva hits them. 

Happy Easter, Easter Bunny!

She didn't understand the holiday, but that is ok.  She received two beautiful Easter baskets with goodies in them from a couple special bunnies.....no, not Chris and I :)
G&G Miller and Nani & Papa provided the goods.  She'll definitely get into it next year!  Enjoy the pics!

Giggles with Grandma

While Chris was in Vegas and I was going to my cousin's wedding, G&G Miller were here to stay with Lauren.  I got a few giggles with grandma....

GG & GG

Last weekend, my cousin John got married, and most of the family was in town....including Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.  I was very happy Lauren didn't nap the whole time they were here so they could get some good quality time.  Lauren was, of course, enamored with GG Sue's jewelry, displayed her "serious" face, gave a laugh or two, and made her way over to GG Bruce.  Here are the highlights....
