A Flower Girl, A Balloon Fight, A Dancer

My cousin Matt got married on  8/3 and LK was one of the flower girls along with Natalie.  The girls did great and the wedding was so much fun.  It was a lot of fun and Chris earned the title "Dancing King."  My favorite is that he said he danced to Toto's Africa with my mom.  How do you fast-dance to that??!

Our kids, like most kids, love water balloons.  You need to fill a bunch before you tell them about them or Michael throws the balloon as soon as you fill it, 2 feet away lasting all of 1 minute.

And Lauren started Tippy Tap a week ago.  She is having a blast tapping away in her little leotard.  Can't wait for the recital in November.  I'm sure she'll be wearing something that is adorable...not the craziness Erin and I wore at Dance Defined.    Here is LK dancing on her bed the first day of tap.  She was excited to go!

Michael turned 2

Our little prince turned 2 on March 10 with lots of family and friends to help celebrate.  Michael has finally reached the age of independence....in his mind at least.  He likes to pick out his clothes/socks/shoes (which ALL have to have some form of green in them, his favorite color, or he has a fit.  I love that he picks out what he likes, but he is severely limited to green, and if all the green is in the wash, he will succumb to a different color only after a nice fit of tears.

He loves donuts, sweets,  sports- mainly football, and reading books and pushing trucks.  He recently had a ball outside playing with our 3 year old neighbor and a teenage boy throwing a football around the lawn.  He was in heaven.

Michael loves to dance, and is addicted to "Jack and Jill" skit on The Wiggles DVD.  He also likes to listen to the nursery rhyme about 20 times in a row.  We have started to wean him from the bad habit by telling him the DVD is at Nani and Papa's house, which it is...thankfully.  His vocabulary has really picked up and he speaks in sentences now.  We are still so in love with this little baby boy....ok toddler.

Here are the highlights of his party:

A little bit Friendly

We had the Schnoor's and LaPointe's over the other day to visit and let the kids run wild.  It had been a while but everyone had a blast.

There are so many pictures I am behind on...233 to be exact.  I'll try to load as few as possible, but it might be impossible.  I realize we have a TON of pictures from inside of our house but that is because I forget to take pictures with the camera away from the house.  We are going to get better about that.

Michael will be 2 in a few short weeks and he will be super excited to actually be present for most of it!  This year he will blow out his candles and open his own presents, and God-willing NOT be sick.

LK will be 4 in a few months and she already changes the theme every time we talk about it.  Everything she sees that she wants to own we remind her to put on her birthday list.  (I'm trying to be good about making these lists, but I don't remember everything.)

MC is becoming an independent little man but is sweet as can be.  LK is also the sweetest little (big) girl and will be going to 4K at the end of the year.  She is excited to say the least.  We are so blessed.  Here goes...

Some toy was kicked under the oven...Michael thought he could help, LK thought she could tell him where it was.

LK loves to walk on the sill

Tantrum avoided...just let them stand in the fridge
